1. The client agrees that this quote is an estimate only and the amount quoted for the renovation works may be subject to change.
  1. The client agrees that costs listed in the quote for Prime Cost Items are estimates only.  If the actual cost of providing a Prime Cost Item is more than the quoted price, the client acknowledges and agrees to pay for any increased cost.
  1. The client confirms that, to the best of their knowledge, the client has disclosed any latent defects in the bathroom, including but not limited to its fixtures, fittings, adjoining walls, ceiling and floor, prior to accepting this quote.  Such defects include but are not limited to:
  1. the presence of asbestos;
  1. white ant damage; or
  1. sub surface or hidden water damage including by not limited to rotten timbers.
  1. The quote is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of the quote, upon which the quote will lapse. Should the client wish to proceed with the works subject to the expired quote, a new quote will be issued.  
  1. Acceptance of this quote is subject to the client:
    1. returning a signed copy of the QBCC Consumer Building Guide (attached); and
    2. paying a 5% Deposit via electronic transfer, using their name or quote number as a reference, into the following account:

  1. Upon acceptance of the quote, the client will be provided with a copy of Gold Star Bathrooms’ Renovation Contract (the “Contract”), Schedule of works and Site Plan.

  1. received a copy of the quote, including the Prime Cost Item list;
  2. received a copy of the QBCC Consumer Building Guide; and
  1. read and understood the above Terms & Conditions.
